This is a 3-year project which
will be developed in 11 stages. It will be held both at
the Fiesole Music School and the various Institute partners.
The main points of the project are:
• Performance styles.
Future meetings between quartets and theorists are planned
where the different violin school styles (Geminiani, Tartini,
Hummel, Quantz, etc) will be compared. Work will also
be carried out between musicians and modern-day composers.
• In-depth study
text analysis.
• Acquisition of
materials and original scores.
• Stage of Ethnic
Music Improvisation and Knowledge and/or not strictly
connected to the written note.
• Study of Recording
techniques: linked to a possible course for recording
technicians.
• Performance Technique,
with the possibility of performing in public concerts
and then studying the audio and video recordings.
• The creation of
a European network to support the careers of young artists. |
