there is another musical entity that has been so deeply
imbued by musical thought as the String Quartet has. It
is in fact through the String Quartet that music has sounded
its deepest notes. After almost 250 years of life it still
cannot be reduced to the sum of its components, but rather
it presents itself as one “instrument” whose
dialectic between individuality and unanimity, between
autonomy and homogeneity can be seen as a paradigm of

CULTURAL COMMISSION. IF APPROVED THE PROJECT WILL START
